The certified arborist on staff manages the seven beautiful parks within the city limits. He manages and supervises the urban forestry program, which includes planting, maintenance and removal activities for the green areas in the city limits.
His efforts, in conjunction with the Newcastle Tree Board, have helped the City of Newcastle be designated a Tree City USA since 1995.
